General
What is Skyward?
Skyward is a crash-style instant game by BetGames. A multiplier starts at 1x and climbs until the game ends — the "crash". Players place a bet and cash out at any multiplier before the crash. If they cash out in time, they win stake × multiplier. If the game crashes before they cash out, the bet is lost. RTP is 96%, max multiplier is 100,000x, minimum bet is R1.
Who makes Skyward?
Skyward is developed by BetGames, a B2B gaming studio specialising in live-dealer and instant games. BetGames holds licences from multiple gaming authorities and distributes Skyward to licensed operators in South Africa and globally.
Is Skyward the same as Aviator or Lucky Jet?
All three are crash-style games but from different providers. Aviator is by Spribe, Lucky Jet is by Gaming Corps. Skyward is by BetGames. The core mechanic is similar — a multiplier climbs until the crash — but each uses independent RNG and has different maximum multipliers and features. See the alternatives page for a detailed comparison.
Gameplay & features
What is the RTP of Skyward?
96%. This means Skyward returns R96 for every R100 wagered over a very large number of rounds. Individual sessions vary significantly from this figure — short sessions can return much more or much less than 96%.
What is the dual bet feature?
Dual bet lets you place two separate bets on a single Skyward round, each with its own stake and auto cash-out target. Example: Bet A cashes out at 2x (low risk), Bet B targets 20x (high risk) in the same round. If the crash happens at 10x, Bet A wins and Bet B loses. This lets you cover multiple strategies in one round.
How does auto cash-out work?
Before the round starts, you set a multiplier target. When the live multiplier reaches your target, your bet is automatically cashed out — you do not need to click manually. Useful for protecting winnings at a preset level even when distracted.
Is Skyward provably fair?
Yes. Skyward uses cryptographic RNG — each round's crash point is determined by a seed generated before bets are placed. After each round, this seed is revealed and can be independently verified. This means neither BetGames nor the casino operator can alter the crash point after bets are placed.
What is the maximum multiplier?
100,000x. At R1 minimum bet, that would pay R100,000. This maximum is theoretical and very rarely reached — most rounds crash at lower multipliers. The RTP of 96% reflects the average return across the full multiplier distribution.
Where to play
Where can I play Skyward in South Africa?
Six operators offer Skyward to SA players: Hollywoodbets, Betway, Lotto Star, YesPlay, JackpotCity, and 1win. Hollywoodbets has the lowest minimum deposit (R25) and is available at the most SA bank branches.
How do I find Skyward inside a casino?
The path varies by operator. At Hollywoodbets: Casino → Spina Zonke → BetGames → Skyward. At Betway: Casino → Crash Games → Skyward. At most operators, searching "Skyward" in the game lobby is the fastest method. See the individual casino pages for exact navigation paths.
What is the minimum bet on Skyward?
R1 — the lowest minimum bet among crash games available to SA players. The maximum bet varies by operator but is typically R5,000–R10,000 per round.
Is Skyward available on mobile?
Yes. Skyward runs in mobile browsers without a dedicated app download. All six SA operators have mobile-optimised sites. Hollywoodbets and Betway also have dedicated Android and iOS apps where Skyward is accessible under the same casino section.
Demo & predictor
Can I play Skyward for free?
Yes. A demo version is available on this site with no registration or deposit required. The demo uses virtual credits — there is no risk and no real money involved. See the demo page.
What is the Skyward predictor?
Predictor tools display recent Skyward round results — crash points, multiplier streaks, and frequency distributions. They help players review historical data. They do not predict future rounds — each Skyward round uses independent cryptographic RNG, so no past results influence the next crash. See the predictor page for more information.
Is there a Skyward strategy or trick to win?
No strategy changes Skyward's house edge. The practical approaches players use: setting a fixed auto cash-out target (e.g., always at 2x) for consistent small gains, or using dual bet to split between conservative and speculative targets. Both manage risk differently but cannot overcome the RNG. Session budgeting is more impactful than betting strategy.
